Floor screeds have been part of the B&K Group of Companies profile for many years, commencing in 1986 as part of the B&K Plasterers Ltd services. This continued for many years, predominantly with sand and cement floor screeds.

In 1998 with the award of a specialist license from Isocrete to promote a new flowing floor screed – Gyvlon, the Directors of the business took the decision to separate the screeds from the Plastering and Drywall Partition services and provide a vehicle to market Gyvlon and Sand and Cement Screeds in its own right.

A new Company was set up in April 1998 – B&K Systems Ltd.

This new Company provided a platform to specialise in the Flooring market and new products have been added since including Under Floor Heating and a Floor Finishes Division, as well as more specialist products.

Since 1998, the Company has gone from strength to strength with turnover at approximately £7m but more importantly with a Client base which is extremely expansive and the majority of turnover achieved from repeat client business.
